Disney dinning plan

Disney Dinning Plan

Since 2004 Disney has been offering a free dinning plan for selected dates.  This is your best bargain.  There are different plans that are offered according to the resort you book.  The value resorts get the counter service free which includes 2 counter service meals, 1 snack and a refillable resort mug.  You may upgrade to dinning plus for an extra $15 per person per night.  The plus dinning includes a sit down meal, a counter service and a snack plus a mug.  You will get the dinning plus free if you book at the moderate or deluxe resorts. You must book a vacation package at full price for at least 3 nights with 2 days tickets to get the free dinning.  There is over 100 places to chose from.
It is a lot of fun to go to different restaurants and try different foods.  The price is right. I found dressing up to the theme of the restaurant brings the enjoyment up a notch.
Cinderella's Castle

Dinning at Cinderella's Castle with cousin Deb.  The service is great and the food is exceptional.  Inside the castle your picture is taken with Cinderella.  You have to use 2 sit down meals but the tip and the pictures are included.  It can be difficult to get a reservation, but you can book 180 days in advance.   Children receive a sword or wand according to their gender.  Fairy godmother comes out and does a show as well as snow white and others.  If you are a big kid they will also give you a wand or sword.

Cowgirls and one cowboy heading over to Whispering Canyon for a nice meal.  A ride around the restaurant on stick horses is also on the menu.  This is a great place to eat with the waiters and waitresses getting in on the fun.  Not a place to eat if you want a quiet dinner.

A retired Play boy bunny enjoying her birthday treat.
This was a total surprise.  The waiter at the Hollywood Brown Derby added the Disney touch to our day.

Prime Time Cafe
Going back to the fifties in our poodle skirts.  Cousin Deb sent a note to peeping Tom to join her at the sock hop.  Which he did.
